This.. was probably the song that brought about one of the turning points in my Christian walk. I love the idea there, that we can see God face to face. When Lucy told Aslan that she missed him (in the poor movie adaptation of Prince Caspian).. that idea touched my heart. For.. although I had never seen Him face to face before, I miss doing so.. He is just so beautiful.. When I imagine how it would be like, I can hardly wait to.. And.. it will be even greater than what I imagine it to be..

Which is why I like the Narnia series. C.S. Lewis really portrays how Christ is like. When you hear of what Aslan does, you can almost imagine it is Him instead of a fictional character..

Come and taste the goodness of the Lord. How do I know that He is real? I know Him. Taste and see that the Lord is good, He tastes like honey in the Rock..

How great is our God, and how Great is His Love. How glorious and wonderful the future of those who love and belong to Him..

Sometimes I do not want to walk in your will. It is painful to do so, and I hate pain. And I do not have the perseverance to do so. But.. you bring me through anyway.. You change my heart, giving me just enough light to carry on. Just for the next step. And I do not know your full purposes.

Dear Lord, and please help us all to know you. To Know you. For in your presence.. all things are made right.

.. Look full in His wondrous face, and the things of Earth will grow strangely dim...

Please help me to look clearly and fully in the right direction.
